You may have heard that this month’s Birchbox is a partnership with Habitat, who have been making us think a bit more about our living and beautifying spaces. All month long, we’ll be looking at how we style our homes, easy ways to make them over, how to store your beauty goodies – plus, stay tuned right here to the magazine for some fun home (and beauty) DIYs and tutorials this month! Bonus: Every subscriber will get a Habitat 20% off voucher in their box, so you can indulge in something fabulous for your home.
If you’re looking for something to watch while you’re working on some DIYs, Netflix has a couple of treats! House Of Cards was released right at the end of February – confession: I’ve already bingewatched it ALL – and Tina Fey’s new comedy The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt will show up on March 6th, starring Ellie Kemper (Bridesmaids) as the super optimistic Kimmy, who’s spent the last 15 years in a bunker as part of a doomsday cult and has a whole new world to explore. Can’t. Wait. Ready to get out for a couple of hours and loved Divergent? The follow up is here! Insurgent (out March 20th) stars Shailene Woodley, Miles Teller and Kate Winslet in the next chapter, which finds Tris on the run with Four (the swoonworthy James Franco-esque Theo James) by her side.

We’ll be appreciating and celebrating big sisters, grans, mentors and – of course – our mums on March 15th – don’t forget! – by sending cards, treating them to dinner or a spa day and a Birchbox subscription to remind them we love them all year round. Another special day this month? St. Patrick’s Day – the Birchbox UK team love any excuse for a celebratory drink or three!
London holds a few unmissable exhibitions right now, but one everyone is talking about is Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty at the V&A, which opens on March 14th (until August 2nd), showcasing more than 100 designs from the late legendary British designer. This is a hugely anticipated exhibition that anyone with even a passing interest in fashion will love. More of a crime fan? The Wellcome Collection’s amazing Forensics exhibition will be right up your street. Well worth a visit to the capital city!
